Data we collect for Trying Together
When you request the free digital book Trying Together, we may process:
- your email address;
- your marketing consent choice (optional, unchecked by default);
- attribution parameters when present (UTM fields and/or
fbclid); - minimal technical data used to prevent abuse (for example rate limiting).
We do not ask for a password, payment data, or health information on this form.
Purposes
- Book delivery: send the transactional email with your private download for the book you requested, once email delivery is configured.
- Marketing communications: only if you explicitly opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Security / anti-abuse: limit automated submissions and protect the service.
Email delivery
Email delivery for Trying Together is not yet connected to a chosen provider. When an operator configures a delivery endpoint, transactional and (when consented) marketing messages will be sent through that provider. Provider credentials are never exposed in the browser. This policy will be updated to name the selected provider once it is chosen.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet applicable legal obligations. Exact retention periods may vary by purpose; you may request deletion of your contact data as described below.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link included in those messages (when applicable).
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your contact data by emailing contact@koal-editions.com.
- Requesting the free book does not require marketing consent.
